The Intramural program serves as an extension of the Physical Education program. Intramurals provide students not involved in interscholastic athletics a supervised program, enabling them to participate in a variety of activities for the following reasons: 1. To enjoy competition and fitness training as recreation. 2. To have social relationships of belonging to a group competing or working out in a friendly sporting activity. 3. To promote better health through physical exercise. 4. To improve skills in a friendly sporting activity. 5. To develop and become interested in sports that can be carried over into adult life. Fall: basketball, volleyball, ping pong Winter: weight training, volleyball Spring: Weight training, softball, floor hockey |
