BAC851 ACCOUNTING 2 (T): Teaches students how to keep a set of books on the cash or accrual basis and to keep partnership and corporation books. The student also studies payroll, depreciation, and voucher systems, taxes, and computerized accounting practices. Math or Vocational credit awarded Prerequisite: Grade of C or better in BAC601. (full year - 1 credit) Open to grades 11 & 12.
BKW301 KEYBOARDING 1 AND WORD PROCESSING (T): Develop proficiency with the alphabetic and numeric keyboard using correct touch-typing technique on the computer. These skills are applied to formatting documents. Attention is focused on building accuracy, speed, and proofreading skills. Late entry requires extensive makeup. (full year - 1 credit) Open to grades 9, 10, 11, & 12.

Students will have hands-on experience with microcomputers in a networked environment using word processing, spreadsheet, database, telecommunications, graphics software, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Internet investigations.
