 - Brickview Inn is located in the lower level of the Cranston Building.
The Brickview Inn is a student run restaurant, which originally opened, on the third floor of the Bradlaw Building in 1990. There were five studetns who were enrolled in the first Restaurant Management class. They selected the name of the restaurant while peering out the windows of the soon-to-be dinding room. The view was that of brick from the Tirrell Building and Converse Art Gallery, hence the name Brickview Inn.
NFA seniors who elect to take Restaurant Management learn business and culinary arts skills. The Brickview Inn is open for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays from October through May. Each week two students take their turns as managers who plan the menu, order the groceries, and assign jobs to their classmates, who help with cooking, serving, hosting, and clean up. Many of these students continue their education in culinary arts, hospitality, or restaurant Management or become gainfully employed in this field.
