Students in Seth Yarish’s Coastal Studies classes and Heather Botelle’s Environmental Science classes have been busy working on projects. With the support of the Norwich Public utilities students sample water quality in Norwich harbor twice a week. Students will produce a report and participate in Norwich’s Riverfest in June. Earlier this month classes participated in a full Thames River study on board Project Oceanology’s research vessel. The classes also participate in the Long Island Sound License plate grant funded study of near shore fish conducted at Bluff Point.
