In the late 19th century The Reverend Doctor John P. Gulliver, with the help of 36 initial donors, created The Norwich Free Academy - a unique private school that has served the public population of Norwich, CT and its surrounding communities for more than a century.
Many alumni and friends choose to continue this philanthropic tradition by supporting NFA through a planned gift. Whether it is naming a fund, program or building, or endowing their annual gift, donors can transfer an asset and provide an income to the Academy for life.
Too often donors have not experienced the acknowledgment of their generosity because their gifts came at the end of their lives. The Norwich Free Academy Foundation offers the following planned giving societies to provide a way for the Academy to honor and thank donors during their lifetime:
