Evans Sets Scoring Record

R.J. Evans became NFA's all time scoring leader in boys basketball with 31 pts against Kolbe Cathedral on Dec. 12, 2007. The previous record was 1,367 points, held by Billy Wendt, class of 1969.

Boys Basketball wins ECC Tournament (March 3)

The Boys Basketball team raised their record to 23-0 with an exciting 78-62 win over New London in the finals of the ECC Tournament. Much of the crowd of over 1600 was enthusiastically supporting the Wildcats making the environment feel like home.

The team was led by tournament MVP Garvin McAlister. Leading scorer (33 points) RJ Evans made the all-tournament team along with teammate Kevin Donovan.

Next up is the first round of the State Tournament. The #2 seed wildcats take on Cheshire Monday March 5 at home at 7:00 pm.

BOYS BASKETBALL TEAM MAKES HISTORY

The Boys Basketball team made history Tuesday evening with a 78-66 win over New London, finishing the regular season undefeated (20-0). This is the first time in NFA Boys Basketball history that a team completed the regular season undefeated.
