The NFA Unified Sports Program received the Michaels Cup as the top school in the state of Connecticut. The Michaels Achievement Cup is a state wide program that recognizes overall excellence in high school athletic programs. The judging is based on three categories Participation, Commitment and Outreach. NFA finished as the top school in the categories of Participation and Outreach.
In addition to this program recognition, Coach Lauren Walling has been selected as the Coach of the Year by the Connecticut High School Coaches Association for Unified Sports.
