Narrow your list of college choices and get applications
Attend your SEOP (parents invited) to review your course selection and your plans for the future, discuss colleges or programs you would like to visit to learn more about
Draft your application essays
Send in early admissions applications
Retake the SAT/ACT (schools take the highest score)
Check the NFA website for scholarships
Visit any remaining colleges or revisit those you are seriously considering if you are still unsure
Turn all application information or transcript requests to go out prior to Christmas in to your guidance counselor before the 10th of December
Complete and send in your remaining college applications
Continue visiting the NFA website and Career Resource Center for scholarship information
Give a copy of your SAR (Student Aid Report) to your guidance counselor by April 15 to be considered for the NFA financial need based scholarships (there are many!!)
Compare all of your post-secondary options and make your selection. Be sure to let your counselor know what your final decision is
