Final Thoughts & Goals for the Future

Delegation Accomplishments:

• Building a clinic in Auguas Frias 

• Building a new school in Diamante

• Conducted and trained water quality testing using biological indicators from the rivers

• Conducted health assessments of children from schools in Kilambe

• Conducted and trained water quality tests using chemical indicators from homes and wells

• Established strong connections with the community of Kilambe as well as ASDEK and CEPAD organizations

Goals for the Future:

• Continue to raise money and awareness

• Sell Kilambe shade grown organic coffee to help raise money for the community of Kilambe as well as future projects

• Develop a student sponsorship program with NFA

• Develop a website for eco-agro educational vacations

• Research "Potters for Peace" water purifying system

• Continue to build/repair schools as well as purchasing much needed supplies & equipment

• Supply schools with wells and bathrooms (also to be used by community)

• Hold a "Plant Sale" this May in Cheshire with "Michaels Greenhouses" as a fundraiser - money will be used to bring a student from Kilambe
