“AIM lets kids express their
talent,” says enthusiastic ninth grader Shelby Chiangi, who performed on piano and in dance in the extravaganza AIM (Artists in Motion) on the evenings of April 26 and 27. Combining diversity and culture, Gwen Martins and her dance students brought to the Slater stage a collaboration of
poets, singers, musicians, artists, actors, and dancers. In addition to entertaining large audiences
both nights, AIM exhibited the students’ discipline, motivation, creativity and
most of all self-respect. A portion of
the proceeds is donated to the Womens Center of Southeastern CT.

accessed on the Website.
